Barbara Ann Bradley

Barbara Ann Bradley, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center in Boaz, AL. Born in Chicago, IL, she later relocated with her family to Lake Wales, FL. After residing in Florida for approximately 40 years, she moved to Crossville, AL, with her husband. Prior to moving to Alabama, Barbara retired as a legal secretary. Her interests included traveling, reading, and animal welfare. She also valued time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by three children: Linda (James) Poole of Florida, James (Tonya) Bradley of Alabama, and Donna Beck (Kirk) Erickson of Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Brent Bradley, Brian Bradley (Annie), Jesse Poole, Garret Poole (Priscilla), Ashley Castillow (Andrew), Haley Thacker (Lucas), Amanda Beck, and Cade Beck; thirteen great-grandchildren: Skyla, Trey, Brayden, Makayla, Mallori, Madalyn, Briella, Easton, Cooper, Alice, Harper, Madden, and Blakely; and two great-great-grandchildren: Ayden and Easton. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Harper; her husband, Donald Bradley; her son, Alan Bradley; and a great-great-grandson, Legend. As we say goodbye, we smile through our tears knowing that if she has her way, she will return as a majestic eagle—soaring freely, strong and fearless, with the wind beneath her wings.
